There is a witness hole on the side of the magazine, alerting you to how much ammunition you have left to load or to fire. The steel base plate can be easily detached for any desired cleaning or maintenance. Since this magazine is capable of holding up to 10 rounds, it is compliant with all state regulations regarding magazine capacity.
